HS principal with three football players holding pins

Parke Heritage High School football players Cade Hoover, Tucker Conley, and Lucas Rhoads received an Exemplary Behavior Report from one of the officials at the Covington football game on Friday, September 26.

The nomination reads: “These young men set the tone early with their leadership in a rivalry game. They were excellent competitors, but quick to help opponents up, at all times cooperative and respectful of the officiating crew and helped the crew maintain an enjoyable experience for players, coaches and officials. The young men that were a great asset to management of the contest were Cade Hoover, Tucker Conley and Lucas Rhoads.”

PHHS principal Bruce Patton awarded these young men a Sportsmanship Pin from the IHSAA in recognition of this honor and for truly embodying what it means to be a Wolf.

A Sportsmanship Pin is awarded by the Indiana High School Athletic Association (IHSAA) to students, parents, and coaches who demonstrate exceptional sportsmanship and positively influence their communities through respect, character, and integrity during sporting events.
