During the Parke Heritage High School College and Career Fair held recently students had the opportunity to nominate a teacher or group for a Way to Go $250 grant sponsored by the Parke County Community Foundation.
Parke Heritage Middle School language arts teacher Kathleen Rush was nominated by Quintyn Kelly and social studies teacher Kevin Roach was nominated by AJ Thompson.
Both teachers were presented a check by Amy Edwards and Gracie Taylor on behalf of the Community Foundation. This award provides funds directly to the teachers’ classrooms.
