Winter Weather Information

Winter weather can be unpredictable, and North Central Parke Schools must take precautions to ensure the safety of their students and staff.  Various methods are used to notify parents and students about closures or delays, including phone calls, social media and the school webpages. It is important for parents and students to keep their contact information up-to-date in the Harmony family access to ensure they receive timely notifications.
Winter weather information

School Delayed:
School will start two hours later.

For example: normal pick-up is 7:30 a.m, then two-hour delayed pick-up is approximately 9:30 a.m.
The normal school starting time of 8:15 a.m. will move to 10:15 a.m. on delayed start days.

Early Dismissal:

This will be used when a storm or other emergency makes it necessary to close school early. It will pertain to the whole school corporation. Since an early dismissal decision requires approximately one hour to implement, if an announcement of an early dismissal is not made prior to 2:15 p.m. you may assume that students will be dismissed at the regular time of 3:15 p.m.
