🌟7th Grade Field Trip to Turkey Run State Park🌟

7th grade took a science/geology field trip to Turkey Run State Park. Students had the chance to hike in the morning and then after lunch they did a guided hike through Rocky Hollow. They focused on how the hollow formed and how it is still being weathered today. They also pointed out unique biological features of the park and acknowledged just how special our neighbor park is!

Parke Heritage Boys Tennis 2026 Sectional Champions apparel order form. The form features the front and back designs for the championship shirts, celebrating three consecutive sectional championships. Gray apparel options include T-shirts for $15, long-sleeve T-shirts for $25, crewnecks for $25, and hoodies for $30. Sizes range from XS to 4XL. 🌟WORFORCE WEDNESDAY🌟

Work Based Learning is a program for senior students that is taught by Stephanie Studebaker. The curriculum she provides is based on the three E's - Education, Enlistment, and Employment. Students in her program attend their home school a half day and then are employed in business and industry the other half of the day. In the classroom portion of the program, numerous topics are covered such as compiling resumes, interviewing, taxes, establishing credit, insurance, and career exploration. The program also incorporates guest speakers, industry tours, and college visits.

Work Based Learning is based on the three E's, Education, Enlistment, and Employment. Work Based Learning is 1/2 day in a classroom and the other 1/2 in a real work setting. In the classroom students learn to do resumes, interviewing, taxes, establishing credit, and insurance. In the real work setting, they are doing what some adults do in their adult careers. They are being guided by people working in that career every day.
