✨A HUGE ACCOMPLISHMENT FOR NORTH CENTRAL PARKE COMMUNITY AND PARKE HERITAGE MIDDLE SCHOOL! ✨

We are incredibly proud to announce that Parke Heritage Middle School has been selected as a recipient of the Indiana Department of Education’s Next Generation School Improvement Grant (Next Gen SIG) – Cohort 6!

This is no small achievement! The Next Gen SIG is an extremely competitive grant opportunity. This year, the Indiana Department of Education received 45 applications from eligible schools, with each application evaluated by independent reviewers.

Less than 1% of Indiana schools will ever receive this prestigious grant.

Parke Heritage Middle School was awarded up to $250,000 in planning funds to support its focus on Personalized/Differentiated Instruction, with Empower serving as the school’s expert partner.

This will be followed by an implementation phase, in which Parke Heritage Middle School will have the opportunity to utilize up to $2.5 million in additional funding to support the implementation of its school improvement plan.

Through this partnership, Parke Heritage Middle School will have access to specialized expertise, strategic guidance, and expert support as we work to develop and implement meaningful strategies designed to better meet the individual needs of our students.

This grant provides an incredible opportunity to strengthen instruction, expand educational opportunities, and help ensure our students receive the support they need to succeed.

Congratulations to the Parke Heritage Middle School staff, students, families, and everyone who played a role in this incredible accomplishment!

We are excited to see where this opportunity takes our school and our students!
